Creamy smoked chicken & broccoli pasta
Creamy, satisfying and loaded with delicious smoked chicken, this pasta dish will quickly become a family favourite. Choose fresh broccoli for best results. Find this and more great recipes on SBS Good Food.


400g Dried linguini
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 Brown onion, diced
1 Australian garlic clove, crushed
250 ml Thickened cream
200g Kaczanowski smoked chicken, thin sliced
200 g Broccoli, cut into 2 cm pieces
2 tbsp Parsley, chopped Salt and pepper to taste


1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over a high heat. Add a large pinch of salt and a dash of oil.

2. Add the dried linguini to the boiling water and stir continuously until water returns to the boil.

3. While waiting for the water boil, heat a frying pan over medium heat.

4. Add oil and onion to the pan, and cook for 5 minutes until softened. Add the crushed garlic and cook briefly for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add the cream to the pan, bring to the boil, reduce and simmer for 5 minutes. When cream has reduced by half add chicken and allow to heat through.

6. Add broccoli, turn heat up slightly and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.

7. Check seasoning, add parsley. Add the second half of the chicken.

8. Add cooked linguini to sauce, toss together well and divide between bowls.

9. Serve hot, garnish with torn Parsley.
